We seek to be compassionate in service as the heart and hands of Jesus Christ.

1. As a part of the United Methodist Church, we seek to be faithful each year to our Shared Ministry Goals, which afford mission and ministry in Ohio, nationally and around the world.  By contributing thousands each year, we help make possible the work of missionaries, health and welfare agencies, educational institutions and evangelism throughout the world.
   
   
2. Protestant Family Service grocery collection: three times a year, approx. ½ ton each time
   
   
3. St. John’s Church soup kitchen several times a year. Click here for additional information.
   
   
4. Annual mission trip: New Orleans (Katrina relief), Mexico (medical clinic and construction work), Sower Project cabin roofs, etc.
   
   
5. Annual youth mission trip: Appalachia, inner city Cleveland
   
   
6. Assist the American Red Cross with blood drives. Click here for information on upcoming blood drives in Mahoning County.
   
   
7. Assistance for indigent families and for transients: food, gas, lodging, utilities
   
   
8. Most of all, we seek to bring to people the knowledge and love of Jesus
